Press for Freedom,
Part TWO
Roy Greenslade, a prominent journalist with more than forty years of experience, presents this special BBC World Service series on freedom of the press. He probes limits on journalism in democratic societies as well as those where the government controls the press.
PART 1

Roy Greenslade joins the BBC’s Indonesia correspondent, Lucy Williamson, as they travel to Papua, a remote Indonesian province. There, they focus on the power of radio as a new independent radio station is launched.
PART 2

Roy Greenslade examines the influence and reach of media mogul Rupert Murdoch. He also explores the relationship between profitability and public service in journalism.
