Two decades ago, Eastern Europe was wracked by seismic shifts as Soviet bloc nations shed communist rule one by one. The BBC’s Foreign Affairs Editor, John Simpson, was there for much of it. In this BBC World Service documentary, he traces the different paths that Eastern Europeans have taken since then.
