  Wole Soyinka: South Africa’s Path to Freedom    
Nobel Lauriat Wole Soyinka fought apartheid from his native Nigeria. Now, with apartheid long abolished, he visits South Africa and meets with those who are still fighting to improve conditions there.

Nigerian author Wole Soyinka has consistently spoken out for what he feels is right. He spent more than two years in jail for allegedly supporting Biafran separatists. He also fought against the system of apartheid in South Africa. He visits South Africa now to chart South Africa’s path to freedom.
SECOND HALF


Nobel Prize-winning author Wole Soyinka continues his look at South Africa, and explores the impact of apartheid on the nation’s newest generation of intellectuals and activists.
