Call That Justice
This hard-hitting documentary series produced by the BBC World Service explores how children are handled in justice systems around the world.
PART 1

Six years ago, the government of Pakistan introduced new laws to protect the rights of children who were in conflict with the law. Vera Frankl reports that far from obtaining justice, many of these children became victims of a system that is inefficient, corrupt and uncaring.
PART 2

There are over two-thousand convicts in the United States serving life imprisonment without the possibility of parole for crimes they committed as juveniles. Vera Frankl reports from Colorado on who decides when children are tried and sentenced as adults. She also delves into the debate on punishing children who commit criminal acts, versus rehabilitating them.
